Government announces 144 banned district borders in Tamil Nadu chief Ministers
chief Ministers Chennai: The Tamil Nadu government has announced that the 144 blockade will be implemented tomorrow and will be closed in all districts across the state.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palanisamy has ordered the closure of all district boundaries and 144 bans in Tamil Nadu from 6 pm to 31 March.
Chief Minister Palanisamy has issued the announcement in this regard.
Chief Minister Palanisamy issued an announcement, including a ban, on the need for some drastic measures to be taken in the affected districts as isolation is necessary.
All districts in Tamil Nadu, including Chennai, Kanchipuram and Erode, which are affected by coronavirus by the central government, are closing the district boundaries to control traffic and public activities.
This order will be in effect from 6pm on Tuesday, March 31st.
Accordingly the following restrictions are in force.
1. Essential and Emergency Operations Other public transport will not operate private transport, cars, auto, socks.
Transit between states and districts is strictly prohibited except for the essential movement of traffic.
2. Workshops will not operate all stores and commercial premises except for essential commodities such as milk, vegetables, groceries, meat and fish shops.
3. Government offices other than essential departments and office functions will not function.
Essential functions include government administration, police, prison, public health and medical, court and local bodies.
However, all preventive measures, including personal hygiene measures, must be followed in the workplace.
4. Private companies need to work from home in IT and Bio-technical office.
However, private companies and hospitals continue to perform essential tasks, including medicine.
5. Factories and export companies producing essential items are allowed fewer workers.
6. Prohibition on building activities other than essential building works. However, these days, unemployed workers should not make a pay cut.
7. In the interest of the tens of thousands of employees who are staying at home, in hotels and elsewhere, restaurants will only be allowed to serve food through parcels.
Amma restaurants will operate as usual.
Furthermore, individuals from abroad are relating themselves and conducting medical tests through government physicians or approved private hospitals to monitor for symptoms.
He urged that appropriate medical treatment should be taken to ensure that the infection is stable and that family members are free of infection.
He said that we all need to realize that it will be a disaster for members and for others to spread.
District administrators are advised to take appropriate action to prevent and mitigate the harassment of pregnant women and the elderly by the injunction.
There is no restriction on the transportation and sale of essential commodities such as food and medical supplies during this period.
Chief Minister Palanisamy said the government is considering providing relief to families affected by the disease.
